Rule 103. GENDER OF TEAMS USYSA recognizes 2 types of team genders:
(1) Teams with females only are girls’ teams.
(2) All other teams are boys’ teams.

All Coaches/Managers are required to be in your club's GotSport account (Intramural, Rec, and Travel)

• Safe Sport for Players
Any player who is 18+ or will turn 18 years old during the current seasonal year must complete SafeSport Training prior to being added to a team’s roster. Safe Sport is accessible in the player’s GotSport Account on their dashboard page.

Common Questions:
Parents just sign permission to complete, and player still needs to complete the training.

How to Access and Upload Your SafeSport Certificate
Player Liability Waiver
For Club Administrators: To view players in your club who have not completed the Player/Participant Waiver of Liability for the 2025/2026 season,
use the saved search titled “Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Incomplete Player Liability Waiver 25/26."
Club administrators can access this by navigating to the Club Management tab, selecting Players, and then clicking on the Saved Search
dropdown in the top right corner.
Parents can access the Player/Participant Waiver of Liability directly by using the link below and then selecting their child’s player account:

Comp Levels
If a player is playing in an Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Member travel, rec, or intramural league players should have their comp level set in GotSport as: USYS

Please ensure you are updating this as the season goes on if the player upgrades examples are from intramural to travel, rec to travel, intramural to rec.

If the player is already approved on the league roster
the Club registrar will have to contact the league and request a release from the team's roster
If the player is not approved:

If you clone your roster from the previous season:
Ensure players that are no longer on the team are removed from this season's roster before the league approves them
