Outstanding Coach Award
We had over 90 coaches nominated for the Outstanding Coach Award! And we read all of your wonderful comments and will probably post some!!
We narrowed it down to about a dozen finalists then finally picked a winner!!! It wasn't easy!!! Which is a great problem to have!
Please send a congratulations to the Spring 2022 Outstanding Coach Alex Hernandez!!
Here are just a couple comments made about Coach Hernandez:
"Every week Alex nominates two players from the team to receive the ""game ball"" for something positive they have done. He is diligent and even keeps a list to make sure each kid on the team gets recognized throughout the season."
"At the end of each season, he provides each kid with an award, along with some candy. The award is just a paper soccer ball, but it says something about each child. Last year, my child won the Swiss Army Knife Award, for being a player that can play many positions and can adjust to the circumstances. My child taped it to the wall above his desk. It reminds him that even when things get hard, we can adjust and succeed."
I just had to leave one of his players congratulating him in the picture!
