Lancaster Area Recreational Soccer is proud to recognize Coach Sara as our Spring 2026 Outstanding Coach Award recipient! Coach Sara exemplifies the values that recreational soccer is all about... sportsmanship, respect, inclusion, and player development. She consistently puts the needs of her players first and creates an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. This season, Sara stepped up to coach two U10 girls teams, creatively combining practices to ensure every player had a quality experience. Her organization, dedication, and willingness to serve allowed more children to participate while creating opportunities for players to learn from and encourage one another. What truly sets Coach Sara apart is the positive culture she creates. She teaches her players to respect teammates, opponents, and referees, to support one another through challenges, and to focus on effort, learning, and personal growth. Through her encouragement and leadership, players gain confidence while learning the values that make youth sports meaningful. Parents consistently praise Sara's ability to build confidence, foster teamwork, and create a positive experience for every child. She embodies the spirit of recreational soccer and the values we hope all young athletes carry with them long after the season ends.
